We are made of vibration. Everything that is alive pulsates with energy which  contains information. Through the intelligent vibrational instrument that is our body, we are constantly picking up this information and communicating with the world around us and the world within. Vibrations that meet our ears are picked up as sound, while the rest of our body picks up the vibrations in every molecule of every cell: listening and expressing are a whole-body experience. As natural vibration-sensing beings, the more we train our capacity to tune in and the more we are embodied, the more we can open ourselves to the universal wisdom embedded in the codes of nature, available to us all times. 

Lost in the noise of today, we have disconnected from the music within, from the symphony of Earth, from the rhythms of the cosmos.

Whereas our ancestors used sound and movement for rituals, for healing and journeying deep within, for communicating with spirits of nature and gathering in community - today, we mainly experience it, or should we say, consume it, as entertainment (turn on "performance mode").

In our 10-day retreat, we remember and celebrate sound, movement and creative expression as sacred birthrights, ways of life, and keys to self-discovery, community building and collective healing.  

In a trauma-informed and inclusive space, we will tune to our own discovery channel and learn to move out of the way of our own selves, so we can experience our unique voice as liberating force. 

LOCATION

This luxury retreat centre - our sanctuary - Zazil, sits at the foothills of a tropical jungle, between the mountains and the warm shores of the Pacific Ocean in the State of Oaxaca, Mexico. Located in Mazunte, Zazil is a walking distance from the beautiful San Agustinillo beach. A serene location, you will hear birds each morning and the ocean waves throughout the day.

ACCOMODATION

TWIN SHARED ROOM  - At the Zazil Retreat centre, you will be staying in twin shared rooms.

MEET THE TEAM

  • The closest airports to the Zazil Retreat Center are Huatulco and Puerto Escondido.

    Shuttle or taxi from the airport to Zazil is around 1hr 15min long and the cost for a taxi is a set rate of 700 MXP. We can provide you with a contact of a reliable taxi driver who will come pick you up.

    ( Most flights from the USA or Canada can be found direct to Mexico city and then you will need a connection flight from there to Huatulco or Puerto Escondido.)

  • It is your responsibility to organize appropriate travel and health insurance.

    You should ensure that your insurance has the relevant cover for you to participate in our activities.

  • A non-refundable deposit of 700 USD is required to hold your reservation.

    The remaining full balance can be spread over 2 subsequent payments, or it can be preferably paid in 1 payment.

    *The full balance must be paid by October 31st, 2022.

    Payment can be made by PayPal (friends and family) VISA, or Mastercard. Note that all credit card payments will include a 3% fee.

    Prices do not include airfare.* You do not need to have your flight booked in order to register, however, please let us know the details of your flight once booked!

    Room selections are available on a first come first serve basis.

    The check-in on the first day is between noon and 3pm, November 15th, 2022.

    If you cannot arrive by 3pm on the first day, please book your flight a day earlier.

  • To book your spot for our retreat, you must pay a non-refundable deposit of 700 USD.

    If canceled 30 days or more before your stay, 50% of the whole cost of our retreat will be refunded to you.

    No refund will be issued to participants who cancel within 30 days of the start of the retreat date, or for participants who choose to leave early.

    We reserve the right to change or cancel a Retreat if insufficient bookings have been received. In the event of an alteration or cancellation from our side, every effort will be made to avoid inconvenience by offering an alternative solution or a full refund.

    We reserve the right to cancel or terminate a guest for any form of misconduct to the community or for behavior that disrupts the stay of other participants or guests.

    There are no exceptions to the above cancellation policies including illness, personal injuries or weather, or finding a replacement for your space.

  • In case of another pandemic, the retreat will be rescheduled and not cancelled.

    If a participant has to cancel or miss part of their stay with us, due to being diagnosed as Co-Vid 19 positive*, we will offer 50% credit for their time missed applied to any of our future retreats with availability (valid for up to 12 months).

    *Formal documentation from your doctor is required.

    If a participant has to cancel or delay their stay with us, due to other circumstances, such as missed flights, personal choices, or not providing the correct documentation or tests to customs and health officials, there will be no refund or credit offered for the days booked that are missed.

    Thank you for your understanding in these new days of travel and retreat planning.

  • Part of attending our retreat will include the creative process of making a final music video clip.

    This means we will be audio recording, taking photos and filming during the retreat in certain designated moments. This footage may then be used for marketing and social media purposes as well as the production of online materials. Please advise us if you do not wish to participate in the final music video production or have your image used for above mentioned purposes.

    Acceptance of Terms and Conditions is a condition of participation in our projects and services.
