This original dance video project, entitled "PAUSE TOGETHER", consists of three consecutive and related parts, produced, choreographed and performed by Eva Kolarova, accompanied live on a piano by Vladimira Krckova. The music I choose for my choreography is a piece called "On an Overgrown Path" by a classical Czech composer Leoš Janácek. The final result of this project is a dance / music video clip filmed by Nasuna Stuart-Ulin.

During COVID 19 I had a lot of time to think and I believe that my values, and my perspective on dance and how it may be shared with the world has positively shifted. Even though all my dance projects got canceled, I have continued to dance every day, and this has truly helped me to find myself and overcome fear.

Dance has become for me a form of meditation and prayer; when I was able to reconnect to the present moment, to my breath, to my surrounding. I started to feel less isolated, and now I want to share this gift with others.

1) The first part of this project is the choreographing process, where I want to invite anyone, who is interested to be part of my creative process and learn my choreography = together with me. The choreography itself is cca 7 min long.
I recorded in total 8 tutorial video capsules. Where I teach, show and explain the execution, as well the meaning of my movements.

You can find these videos on my Youtube channel:

2) The second part is a livestream performance on Facebook. On August 3th at 11:30am EDT time and 5:30pm CET time come and join us!

3) The third and last part of this project is a professional dance video clip of this choreography, filmed this summer outside in nature.
Nasuna Stuart-Ulin with whom I have collaborated in past, used her videographer skills to create a magical dance/music video clip.

You can find the FINAL video below.
