Carte Blanche is a platform for artistic performances that highlights and fosters the diversity of practices, approaches and philosophies within the professional dance community in Montreal. In addition to bringing dancers from all corners of the city, this event presents extracts of plays and short works of contemporary ballet, contemporary dance, urban dance, circus, videodance (Cinédanse) and more.
 
Carte Blanche offers an annual meeting place for dance professionals in our community, a crossroads for meeting new people and network with artists from a variety of styles and dance companies. In presenting Carte Blanche, Dance a la Carte like to encourage the choreographers and artists to create freely, to take creative risks, explore new partnerships and mergers, and deepen the distinction of their artistic signature. We welcome distributors, directors and officers of the Montreal dance community and beyond, to provide the greatest possible visibility to our artists and our collective.
